You’re free to take a breather when the game is paused or while you’re looking at the map/reading documents you’ve found. Keep in mind that the timer does stop sometimes. Instead, quit to the main menu when you die and load your last saved game from there. If you do, the timer will keep rolling from where it was when you died. When you die (which you will probably do a lot), don’t continue from the death screen.

Once again, time is crucial, and you now have even less of it. Also, in any future runs (B scenario) the time limit has decreased to 3 hours. You’ll need to beat the entire game in u nder 3 hours and 30 minutes if it’s your first play-through. Speed is the only thing that matters to earn this rank, so prepare to do a lot of running and dodging. The time it takes you to complete the entire game is the deciding factor for S Rank and for S+ you’ll have an even bigger challenge.
